The Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra

The Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra is a renowned and internationally acclaimed Viennese chamber orchestra that translates the glamorous era of imperial Vienna into music. The orchestra performs regularly at Vienna’s Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace and has recently begun to perform internationally, both in Europe and the United States. The concert will showcase almost completely Strauss repertoire.

The Four Freshmen

The Four Freshmen is a Grammy nominated American male vocal band quartet that blends jazz arrangements with big band vocal group sounds like The Modernaires (Glenn Miller) and The Pied Pipers (Tommy Dorsey). Founded in 1948 at Butler University in Indianapolis, this outstanding preserved group of four-part harmony, is a twist of elegance, a splash of swing, and truly a whole lot of fun.

Intersection

Intersection, a New York Trio, consisting of a violinist, cellist and pianist was formed in 1998, and has forged a powerful connection with audiences worldwide. Their numerous recordings have been best-sellers throughout the world. A typical evening of music may center on Ravel, Dvorak or a Brahms trio, but will often veer into excerpts of American film music, popular theater, and song. Solos and duos add to the variety of each performance. |

The National Lutheran Choir

The National Lutheran Choir is one of the finest choirs in the country located in the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Composed of 40+ professional singers who also have day jobs, they are recipient of the 2007 Margaret Hillis Award for Volunteer Choirs from Chorus America. NLC sings a program of classical choral literature, spirituals, and gospel songs with director David Cherwien at the piano.

You will experience all the excitement of a Brass Band performance combined with the intimate setting of a small but magnetic and hilarious quintet including a percussionist.

The Brett Family Singers

The Brett Family Singers, from Branson, Mo., is jam-packed with feel-good music, including classic favorites from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and the 70’s. The five members of this family including mom, dad, a daughter and 2 sons present a varied program ranging from country, gospel, rock and roll and patriotic to beautiful a cappella singing. This tour by the Brett Family is a follow-up to their highly successful 24 concert mid-western tour in the 2008-2009 season.
