From Bach to Bacharach, from Bernstein to Mancini, Proteus 7 breaths new life into chamber music with their dynamic, creative and free-ranging approach to styles and repertoire. The ensemble features 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, tuba, reeds, and percussion. Proteus 7 is one of the first to mix this versatile and captivating combination of musical instruments

ANGELE DUBEAU & LA PIETA

Angele Dubeau, one of Canada’s most prominent artists, created La Pieta, a string ensemble with some of the finest women musicians in Canada. Comprised of 4 violins, 2 viola, cello, double bass and piano, they perform standing in a semicircle around a grand piano. This program will include many classical favorites that fit the program title of Passion.

THE CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES

The Church Basement Ladies is a touring company of the current long-running hit show at the Plymouth Playhouse in Minneapolis. A delightful musical comedy that celebrates the women who work so hard and with such dedication in the church kitchen. The Cast includes 4 ladies, the pastor of the small county church and the organist/pianist who accompanies the show, which includes a Christmas dinner, a funeral, an Easter fund-raiser and a July wedding.

SOLI DEO GLORIA CANTORUM

Soli Deo Gloria Cantorum is Nebraska’s Professional Chorale, headquartered in Omaha, is the product of the creative imagination of Almeda and Jackson Berkey, performing artists of Mannheim Steamroller fame. This 16 voice Cantorum performs not only sacred works and chamber music, but folk songs, pop tunes as well as some original works of Jackson Berkey.
 

Our musical Concert Association is a 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code organization, and its affairs are solely directed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
